Do you know Taro Okamoto? "Geijutu wa bakuhatuda"(It means art is explosion) do you know this phrase? I think most of people know him and that phrase. If some people say "NO" but I think they know "Taiyou no tou"(Tower of The Sun) in Osaka Japan.He is an artist. I know him but it is very few because when I have an interest for art (it about when I was 15 years old.) he is already dead, he dead in 1996, I know his that famous phrase and Taiyou-no-tou but then, I did not have an interest for him.
Recently I have got interest of him by one of radio program which featured Taro Okamoto. He hate sell his works for an individual. His thinking of art was that."Art should be opened to the public.For example, a work of art in a park, you can see it whenever you want. That is grate." I was impressed this way of thinking.
Do you know this wall painting? This is named "Asu no Shinwa"(it means a myth of tomorrow). It is said that this painting expressing terror of nuclear weapon and also this paint is affected by Pablo Picasso's "Guernika".
This painting is unveiled at Tokyo modern art museum till June 29I want see it very much! I want to go to Tokyo to see it!! Ending unveiling, this will be established at Shibya in Tokyo.[243 words- total 1492words]
